What’s on my Netflix?

Spread the love

I’ve replaced my party shoes with slippers and i thought you’d like an insight into what i’m watching on Netflix right now. (There are no spoilers in this post)

My ‘continue watching for Rosaleen’ include:

  • Mad Men (Season 7, episode 4)

The advertising world in the 60’s and focused around the very cool Don Draper.

Before Netflix i had an Amazon prime and i was making my way through this gem of a series until one day i decide to cancel that account to save money. So when Netflix picked it up i was super happy again, i am on the last season finally but why is there only 7 episodes? Where are the rest Netflix?

  • American Crime Story – The people vs OJ Simpson (finished for the 2nd time)

Oh my goodness i cannot recommend this enough, i’ve watched it twice now and even the second time round i was on the edge of my seat. It’s from the makers of the American Horror Story series which i darn’t watch and i’ve heard they are going to focus on another crime story in the future. The casting is the best casting i’ve seen in a TV series with Sarah Paulson being my favourite, she’s wonderful and i’ve become such a fan girl.

  • The Big Bang Theory (Season 7, episode 4)

Ok, so i don’t consider myself a lover of the Big Bang Theory and in all honesty i only watch this when i’m feeding Cora and need some background noise. It’s an easy 20 minute, turn your brain off kind of show… which is ironic really.

Also does anyone else think some scenes are similar to scenes from Friends? Kaley Cuoco’s acting reminds me of Jenifer Aniston!

  • The Fresh Prince of Bel Air (Season 2, episode 2)

Who didn’t love this growing up?

Who remembers the TV channel Trouble?

I’d come home and watch Sabrina the Teenage Which, Sister Sister and then switch over to Fresh Prince. It’s a nostalgic hit and one that i’ll continue to watch forever.

  • Reign (Season 2, episode 12)

I came across this when i was searching for something me and my sister could watch together, she loves anything to do with Kings and Queen and she’d never seen this so i put it on.

My sister stopped watching after a few episodes but i continued. I’m not one for shows about royals but this one has grown on me, i call it an introductory royalist series! It story focuses on Mary Queen of Scots played by the gorgeous Adelaide Kane.

The costumes in every episode almost upstage the drama, i love it!

  • Bates Motel (Season 1, episode 9)

As a Hitchcock fan i was always going to veer towards this on Netflix. It’s the story before Psycho and based around the strange relationship between Norman Bates and his mum. Its a dark watch and one i have to wait until Cora is asleep for, hence why i’m not on season 2 yet.

  • Vampire Diaries(Season 3, episode 2)

Ok, i feel like i’ve had this on my list forever. After the first season it totally drags, does anyone know if it gets any better? I hate giving up on things but oh my goodness, it makes me miss True Blood.

  • 13 Reasons Why (Finished)

And yes the one everybody has been talking about. Believe the hype, this show focuses on very important issues and i really believe everybody should give it a watch. It’s very dark and you WILL need tissues by the final episode!
